HELLO
oh so shihui is on her new job ( and her last one) again. i guess i have a million jobs by now, hmm let me think, in the past 8 months i had 5 jobs! gosh, if that is how the govt measure the number of jobs created and soaring employment rate, i would have contribute a big percentage to the figure haha, just kidding.
this new job hasnt really started acty, because for the first 2 weeks i will be doing the simple mundane stuff like photocopying, checking of accounts and sometimes a coffee lady. after which then i would start the 4-1am shift and thats when the real stuff begins. quite looking forward to it, but kind of scared too, because the figures i'm dealing with is huge, which is enough for me not to work for my entire life, so shihui better not screw up like how she always did in her previous job.
and i feel really young and dumb among all the people, cos all of them holds at least a degree and numerous qualifications and they are all 20 and above. the 2nd youngest is 23, so my colleagues were all shocked to hear that im 19, GASP. and all the talk about work life is boring, no friend, blah blah i tihnk its quite true, so my friends, please try to work near each other so you can meet up for lunch. haha, other than that, i'm getting paid for watching CNN and running random errands for them, am trying to learn as much as i can but half the time i cant catch the banking lingo haha which reminds me of the compliance talk on the first day, i would definitely align to their rules since i dont even know whats going on haha...
it was an emotional send-off on sunday morning, i wonder if the lack of sleep worsens it, but it was so sad :( i dont really want to think of myself leaving, but anyway it was quite funny somehow to see my mum crying too, now you know where the genes came from, and i realise we tend to talk alot when we have an extremely strong feeling, be it happy or sad, so dont blame me for being such a talkative woman hahaha, blame my mum!
